Dear Families,

It is my pleasure on behalf of the staff to welcome you to Georges P. Vanier Catholic School in Chatham, Ontario. The staff and I are committed to providing a quality Catholic education for your child. We strive to provide a variety of learning experiences to enhance the intellectual, physical, social and spiritual growth of each student.

The close proximity of our Church enables our students to celebrate masses on a regular basis and participate in sacramental preparation. We share a partnership with St. Ursula/St. Joseph Parish Cluster. Father Matt Kucharski our pastor, and Coordinators of Youth Ministries Sue McMath and Lynne Tibor, work closely with our school to prepare many meaningful faith experiences for our students.

Our School Council is also a vital part of our school community and we encourage all parents to get involved by attending the school council meetings and participating in the many events sponsored by them.

Communication with home is very important. Look for our school newsletter and classroom letters the first day of every month.
