UPDATE: Sunday, March 1, 2020
I want to assure all members of the St. Patrick’s Catholic High School community that the safety and security of all students, staff and visitors to our schools is always our first priority. Throughout the events of last Friday morning, at no time was there a threat to the safety of students and staff in the building and all appropriate school security measures were followed at all times.
Sarnia Police Services has concluded its review of this matter and the investigation is now closed. https://www.sarniapolice.com/update-st-patricks-high-school/
I want to thank Sarnia Police Services and Lambton Emergency Medical Services for their rapid response and to all students and staff who assisted in any way. We have a plan in place for the next several weeks to support students and staff through our Support & Wellbeing Team. Counselling support will continue to be provided, as needed.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact school administration.

There was an incident at St. Patrick’s Catholic High School Friday morning involving a student injury. The student was transported to hospital by ambulance and police were called. All students and staff are safe inside the building. The school has followed the Board’s Police Protocols. For a brief period, the school was in Lock Down and then Hold & Secure. Both have since been lifted and students and staff are attending regular classes. The Board is providing counselling support for staff and students and will continue to monitor the situation and provide support as needed. I want to thank the staff and students of St. Patrick’s Catholic High School for their quick and appropriate response to this situation.
