“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Luke 6:31

Dear Families,

The staff of St. Elizabeth Catholic School strives to bring Christ’s message to the students every day with the goal of developing the unique abilities of every child, in order for each child to live and learn in a responsible manner according to Christ’s principles.  The St. Elizabeth Catholic School community continues to discover new ways to follow the Golden Rule and love one another as Jesus did. “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35). At St. Elizabeth Catholic School we promote sharing and celebrating our gifts as we pray, learn, love and grow together.

Families play a vital role in the education of our children.  We are called to build strong partnerships among home, school and parish. Please join us this year in a variety parent evenings and liturgical events to strengthen our partnership. Families are encouraged to utilize our social media and apps to stay updated on the events at the school and in the classrooms.   Together, we will support our children’s spiritual and academic growth.

On behalf of the entire staff, I am pleased to welcome you and your children to the 2016-2017 school year. To families joining our school community for the first time, we extend a special and warm welcome.  We are excited to begin our new year of our Catholic education journey. Please feel free to contact the school to discuss any questions or concerns.

Mrs. L. Gibson
Principal

Mission Statement

St. Elizabeth Professional Learning Community is called to:

  • Educate with the belief that all children can learn.
  • Nurture the uniqueness of each child.
  • Develop Christian citizens who are leaders with Christ.
  • Develop positive attitudes and relationships among all members of the school community.

As a result of the implementation of a French Immersion program at Christ The King Catholic School in Wallaceburg, effective September 2016, school boundaries for all three Wallaceburg schools have been adjusted.

The boundary changes do not affect students currently attending Christ The King, Holy Family or St. Elizabeth Catholic schools.

Privacy Advisory

Our families and staff enjoy opportunities to share some of their activities with parents and the school community through teams, clubs and special events. Many of these are ‘memory making’ for families and as such, photographs and videos are often taken.

We ask that families exercise their discretion when taking photographs or videos at school events and consider the privacy of other students who may also be present in those pictures. We would appreciate if families not upload images of students other than their own to the Internet (e.g. YouTube or Facebook). Your cooperation with this request is appreciated.
