University of Western Ontario Researcher Seeks Information about Ursuline College Chatham - The Pines 

At the invitation of the General Leadership Team of the Ursulines of Chatham, Dr. Rebecca Coulter, an educational historian and a professor in the Faculty of Education at Western University, is doing research on the history of Ursuline College Chatham (The Pines).  She would like to interview former staff members and students about their experiences at The Pines and is seeking volunteers willing to participate in an interview, that would take no longer than 60 minutes and will be conducted at a place of their choosing, or over the phone.  Do you have items from your time at The Pines, such as photographs, journals and diaries, samples of school work, report cards or letters sent to parents or friends that you are willing to share?  For more information, to volunteer for an interview, or to share memorabilia, please contact Dr. Rebecca Coulter by phone at 519-661-2111, ext. 88603; by email at coulter@uwo.ca or by surface mail, c/o Faculty of Education, University of Western Ontario, 1137 Western Road, London, ON   N6G 1G7.

St. Clair Catholic Acknowledges Leaders Who Have Received Provincial Recognition 

Three leaders -- UCC Principal Ray Power, Superintendent of Education Deb Crawford and Trustee Linda Ward -- have recently received provincial recognition for their work in Catholic education.  They were honoured at the May 26, 2015 Board meeting for their accomplishments.  For more information, click here.
